About the project

What had to be solved

• Implementing a smooth product customization & configurator interface (size, colors, design) that works in real time.
• Integrating the front end with MySQL backend logic to handle dynamic product data, inventory, pricing, order triggers, etc.
• Ensuring performance & responsiveness given the heavy use of images, product previews, and custom scripts.
• Making sure the site remains fluid and intuitive on mobile & tablet devices.
• Handling integrations (payment, order management, printing backend) without breaking user flow or increasing page load times.

How it was built

• Built custom Elementor templates and modules for product display, customization panels, pricing previews, and user dashboards.
• Developed back-end logic in PHP / MySQL to tie the product configurator to order generation and print backend workflows.
• Used jQuery & core-js for live updates in customization (color changes, preview updates, cost recalculation) with asynchronous requests to server where needed.
• Optimized images, used lazy loading, deferred noncritical JS, and compressed assets so the site loads quickly and smoothly.
• Tested fully responsive layouts and interactions across various devices to maintain usability of the customization tools.

What it delivered

• Delivered a robust print-on-demand platform where brands can launch products without inventory.
• Users can easily customize and preview apparel designs, place orders, and track them, all within a seamless UI.
• Back-end integration ensures orders move automatically from site to production without manual steps.
• Performance and responsiveness improvements make the site usable even on mobile devices.
• The design, development, and feature set help Reserva INK compete strongly in the custom apparel / POD industry.
