GoEdu.ac is a professional online learning platform in Bangladesh offering 250+ courses with affiliate certificates, lifetime access, and a wide range of topics tailored for career growth.
About the project
It provides learners with course materials, quizzes, assignments, and instructor-led or self-paced formats. The aim was to build an educational portal that’s intuitive, accessible, and motivating, where users can easily browse, enroll, learn, and get certified from anywhere.
What had to be solved
- Handling a large number of courses, different durations, formats (free & paid), with certification credits.
- Ensuring the LMS handles quizzes, assignments, and tracking progress reliably for many users.
- Designing a UI that balances information richness (course lists, ratings, durations) and simplicity so users can find what they need fast.
- Optimizing site speed and performance given many dynamic course pages, media, and active user interactions.
- Ensuring full mobile responsiveness and usability across various screen sizes and devices.
How it was built
- Integrated a robust LMS system with course listings, quizzes, assignments, and certification functionality.
- Developed custom Elementor templates + bespoke features for course cards, instructor & student dashboards, ratings, etc.
- Implemented access controls for free vs paid courses, certification issuance after completion.
- Applied performance optimization: media compression, lazy loading, efficient scripts & caching.
- Designed responsive layouts and tested across devices to keep user experience consistent and smooth.
