• Complex Eligibility Gating: Government funding criteria require strict validation rules (e.g., age, UK residency, employment status, income thresholds) that must be calculated instantly before letting a user apply.
• High-Volume Data Capture: The site requires a heavy form infrastructure to collect user information, qualification choices, and identification data securely without slowing down the site.
• Trust & Credibility Branding: Because the platform promises "free" services, the UI must look highly professional, secure, and authoritative to avoid being misidentified as an untrustworthy or spammy site.
• Smooth UX Navigation: Displaying a massive library of courses across numerous industries (from health and care to corporate management) required an interface that remains digestible, mobile-friendly, and easy to filter.
• Offering many different categories and courses while making it easy for users to quickly find what they qualify for.
• Ensuring enrolment is fast and simple, with eligibility checks and government funding flows.
• Maintaining clarity and trust, since courses are free but government-certified—user expectations must be managed.
• Designing for performance, especially with many courses, resources, filtering, tooltips, images, etc.

How it was built

• Streamlined Course Finder UI: Built a highly intuitive course architecture categorized cleanly by personal growth, workplace skills, and trending certificates, allowing prospective students to find and apply for programs in under three clicks.
• Built a guided enrolment workflow and course finder / filter tool to let learners quickly locate courses by category, subject, eligibility, etc.
• Integrated LMS with assessment, quizzes, and structured modules to track learner progress.
